Actor - Collaborator - Writer
My first experience in devised work, and the first production of the 2018 MFA Theatre: Contemporary Performance cohort! After a 5 day silent writing retreat led by playwright Erik Ehn, we were tasked with creating an original piece in two weeks.
The word Homeness came up early in the process as a central theme, and we organized the show into scenes isolated in each room of a house. While we all worked on the piece together and helped each other, I performed in the Living Room and Bedroom scenes, as well as the group opening and ending. Photos by Jamie Kraus.
